The cold air rushes past me as I walk out of touch from the rays of the blistering sun. The smell of crisp, warm, fresh bread fills my lungs. I grow impatient waiting and waiting in line. My stomach aches for the delight of just one bite.

I walk half a mile to the tennis courts. There is a ready a couple on the far court so we take the near court. We hit the ball back and forth a few times then the ball goes flying over the fence. The sun has blistered our skin so after we find the ball we walk to the shade of the gazebo to sit and drink. As I sit I ask "Dad how do you keep the ball on the court?"

All time the time, I can see this place. I imagine the hot, blistering heat hitting my face for an hour and a half. My feat are tender steppping on the black, hot like coals that are on the ground. The cooling shade of the bleechers sends a sense of comfort onto my back. The sound of the whistle at the end of our time, makes me believe that it was all worth the pain.

I'm lining up for the race, i tell myself it's only 200 meters, I will be done soon. The sweat is rushing to my face, I hope I don't feel the stinging in my eye if it goes in. The ref tell us to get ready, set, and he pulls the trigger! I'm running as fast as I can, as I round the corner I can see the end the crowd is cheering in the bleachers, I have arrived!

The snow blew up in my face. I ran up the hill quickly as i could. As i got the top i grabbed my sled and jumped on it. I slid down hit the jump and lost my sled in mid air.fell on my back and rolled the rest of the way down the giant hill and almost went out on the lake.

The bright blue traversing under me. Jump after jump, success after success. After slamming down on the hard blue surface, I put my head up and imagine a crowd cheering me on. I prepare myself on the white line, run at full speed, make the jump, and I am in a sea of boxed foam.

I walk along the railroad staring out past the sand and beach grass, I make my way up to a small restaurant and let myself in. I am greeted by the smell of fresh baking bread, cheese and pepperoni. I am catered to a table by the window as I am asked for my order. Tapping my foot impatiently, I wait for the delicious meal to arrive.

Everyday I visit this place where the wind never reaches…only of the fans blowing cool air. We always fail to keep our skin dry, for the heat is never ending. Noises bounce off of the walls as your sweat beads on your face. The squeaking of shoes from the players is constant. Cheering fans are always on your side, while the ball flies through the air, your focus is steady.

As my feet danced through the hot, tan blanket I felt a burning sensation with every step. I have been under this giant fireball for far too long. My golden-brown skin seemed as if it had been baking in a giant oven over the past few hours. It was definitely time too cool off. I then motioned myself to the smooth, aqua-marine H2O and gentley submerged myself in. It felt as if a cooling sensation went all the waythrough my veins.

The warm sand runs between my feet as I walk along the shore. The sun beats down on me while the waves tumble along the body of water. I look and all around I see umbrellas and beach towels. the smell of sunscreen and sandwiches fills the air. This is the ultimate hang out.

I walk in the door and feel the cold breeze. The smell of sweet candy and yogurt gives me chills. A lot of choices to make in just one small bowl. The coldness of yogurt and smell of sweets just finishes the summer off.

I come close to my destination and I can hear the music playing loudly. I put my $5 in to the machine, so I can grab my ticket. I finally get to the front of the line and hand my ticket to the person that works there. I go to my favorite animal and sit on it. The bell starts ringing very loudly and we start going around and around. I can feel the wind threw my hair and I can hear the loud music. "this is my favorite part about summer." I thought.

The sun dancing high in the sky, the wind gently blowing by and the feel of the perfectly cut grass beneath your feet. The grass cut in perfect thin rows straight up and down, the most dirty diamond you will ever see. Three bases and a home surrounding the highest point in the area. Also in my opinion the best spot to be.

A soft whir greets me as I walk through the door, along with a blast of cool air. It is a place that takes lots of work and dedication to get into. The connecting doors lead to the last class, and inside are rows the machines I like and know best. The cool air keeps the machines functioning fully, and is a blessing for us in the early morning hours. I go in, log on, and start to work.

The sun beats down on my skin, but there's a slight breeze cooling me down. There's the sound of crashing waves in the background as I lay with my toes in the sand. There's kids laughing, screaming, and running around me. Looking beyond the pier I see boats speeding through the lake and the occasional sailboat gliding along.

I walk down the narrow path. Feeling like I'm going to fall off on both sides of me. The wind blowing extremely hard against my face. The water far below.

We speed through the water, small waves reaching up our boat. We cruise to a spot, my favorite spot. The water is very clear and you can see the silver anchor speed towards the bottom and crash with a poof of sand. I look at the sandy hills, hold my breath and jump in the water.

Walking this big room with the fans blowing and the shoes squeaking. Watching sweat drip down everyones face while running sprints. Hearing the whistle blow and the coaches yelling "get on the line!" Trying your hardest to keep up hard work and make yourself better.

Nurses rushing, doctors waiting for there next patient to walk in. Not knowing what crazy sickness, or injury lies ahead. Rubber and cleaning supplies is all you can smell. Some people come and go, others stay until they're at peace.
